Rainbows and Kitties

Last night, I was reading The Story by Max Lucado and Randy Frazee. I literally just started to read the "sample" that I downloaded on my ipad to see if it would be something I would connect with. I found it to be the bible put into simpler terms, in which you do not have to read and reread to understand the language but instead can focus your energy on understanding the people. I began to read about Noah, kind of feeling like "I've heard this story a billion of times", but then came across something I hadn't thought about in so long. A rainbow and its significance. I read that a rainbow is a promise from God to his people that He will never again wipe away humanity. It is a symbol of hope and love. Each time I see a rainbow, I think about how God is so wonderful but now I can appreciate in a different light, a promise.

I took both kitties to the vet this morning, Tacky on the left and Sassy on the right. I found out that they are both going on diets. So, now I have to cut back on the food according to the Vet's directions. These cute little faces, it's going to be so hard to say no to my fur-babies.

By the way so excited because I am going to Disney this Friday. Going to catch up with little Sissy. Woo hoo!
